In observance of Memorial Day

Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, was established after the Civil War to honor the war dead. It is observed annually on the last Monday in May. A National Moment of Remembrance is being held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. The Times Union has a list of area activities.
